PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle equipment operating device capable of operating equipment mounted on a vehicle having a large number of alternatives with less number of switches without reducing a forward observing time. SOLUTION: An input operating panel 15 comprises a dial device 105 and a plurality of push selection switches 101 to 104 as operating input elements. An operating control device 13 changes operating function sets allocated to the push selection switches 101 to 104 according to the rotating direction and rotating amount of the dial device 105 and displays the detail of the operating function sets on a display device 14 for each of the push selection switches 101 to 104.
