Device comprises a storage rack (1) for CDs, etc. The base (6) of the rack comprises a system supply battery. On each side of the rack is a rail (3) that accepts an optical reader (2) that slides along the rails by means of its supports (7). When the reader is moved in front of a CD case the digital screen (4) of the reader displays all information necessary for finding and locating a CD.
