PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic payment system capable of surely preventing the charging except when getting on and off a train. SOLUTION: This electronic payment system performing a communication by use of radio transmission comprises readers 12 and 14 set in a station ticket gate 11 and in a train 13. When the detection of a noncontact IC card 15 is performed in the order of the reader 12 and the reader 14, the entrance is judged, passing information is acquired every passing of the reader 14 through stations, and when the detection of the noncontact IC card 15 is performed in the order of the reader 14 and the reader 12, the charging is performed. |
