ORGANIC ACID SYSTEM FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE ACIDIZING

It has been discovered that dicarboxylic acids are useful in acidizing subterranean formations to improve their permeability, particularl y at elevated temperature, e.g. between 200.degree.F (92.degree.C) and 400.degree .F (204.degree.C). Particularly suitable dicarboxylic acids include, but are not necessarily limited to, succinic acid, glutaric acid, adipic acid, and mixtures thereof.
