PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional changing method allowing a user to easily change three-dimensional data. SOLUTION: When the user designates a region to be smoothed by use of a mouse to a displayed image, a CPU specifies projected apex data corresponding to the designated region, calculates the equation of an approximate plane by use of the specified projected apex data (step S240), changes polygon data so that the specified projected apex data follows the approximate plane (step S260), and displays the change result on a display (step S280). The user thus can change the polygon data so that the designated region is smoothed only by performing the region designation to the displayed image. Consequently, the user can easily change the polygon data.
