PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for displaying images by utilizing an ambient light, which is capable of suppressing variations in color reproducibility of a displayed image, even in an environment where the color temperature of an ambient light is different. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a means for detecting the color temperature of an ambient light and a means for correcting the color temperature of a video signal, to correct the color temperature of the video signal, according to the information about the detected color temperature of the ambient light.
