PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment wherein a one-operation key whose change is desired is retrieved without trouble and retrieval omission and contents can be changed at a time. SOLUTION: Facsimile equipment 10 is provided with one-operation keys transmitting data to a registered destination, an operation display part 14 to which a retrieval character string for retrieval and a changed character string are inputted, and which displays a retrieved result, and a CPU 11 retrieving the one-operation key including the retrieval character string among the one- operation keys registered in a memory 19 and changing the part of the retrieval character string of the one-operation key displayed on the operation display part 14 into the changed character string.
