PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine or the like which provides various functions with a small number of hard keys and excludes useless keys just for providing an unwanted function. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a register means with which a first key having a certain function assigned can be recorded in relation to the other second key. By pressing the second key related to the first key, the same operation as the first key can be made realized.
