PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body detecting device which is provided with a means for stopping a monitoring function without requiring complicated work and can also display a monitoring stop state. SOLUTION: This human body detecting device consisting of a coming into a room detection mode for detecting a person coming into a room, a body movement stop detecting mode for detecting body movement and also detecting movement stopping, and a monitoring mode composed of the coming into a room detection mode and the body movement stop detecting mode, is provided with a monitoring function stop selecting means for stopping the monitoring mode, and the monitoring function stop selecting means is a setting switch for changing display images such as a bath water temperature and a selection switch for selecting display items of the display images provided on a remote control. Thus, the setting switch and the selection switch provided in the remote control are utilized by using, for example, a remote control for a bath of a water heating appliance to provide the body detecting device that can stop a monitoring function without separately providing a switch and without requiring a complicated work. |
