PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a voltage adjuster having simple configuration and a high voltage adjustment effect. SOLUTION: This voltage adjuster comprises series transformers 1-3 connected in series to individual phases U, V and W of a three-phase distribution line respectively, parallel transformers 4, 5 with taps open-delta connected between phases U and V and between phases V and W of the three-phase distribution line in parallel respectively, and thyristor switches 6-29 for performing changeovers of the taps of the parallel transformers 4, 5. Individual parallel transformers 4, 5 are provided with tertiary windings 37, 38 respectively, and are open-delta connected for connecting the winding mutually at phase V. Capacitor compensating portions 41, 44 and 47 formed by connecting capacitors 40, 43 and 46 in series to switches 39, 42 and 45 are connected between phases U and V, phases V and W, and phases W and U of the tertiary windings 37, 38 respectively in parallel. |
