METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MULTI-WINDOW MOVING PICTURE DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for multi-window moving picture display which make it possible to selectively listen to a necessary voice by outputting only the voice corresponding to a specified moving picture among a plurality of moving picture display windows. SOLUTION: A plurality of windows are displayed on a bit-map display 108 and a moving picture input device 106 displays pieces of moving picture information in the windows respectively. A voice selector 102 receives voices corresponding to the pieces of moving picture information respectively. When one of the windows which are displayed is specified by a pointing device 105, an input/output processor 104 controls a voice selector 102 to select and outputs one voice corresponding to the indicated window to a speaker 109. Consequently, the one selected voice is outputted and other voices are not outputted.
