INPUT DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSOR, INPUT OBJECT DEVICE, AND INFORMATION TRANSFER METHOD USING THE INPUT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device, an information processor, an input object device and an information transfer method using the input device, which can communicate with external equipment by light and short-distance radio and enable intuitive input operation. SOLUTION: A pointing device 1 is able to communicate with the external equipment through an IR device 2 by using light and through a Bluetooth device 3 by using short-distance radio. If there is an obstacle between the device and external equipment as an input object, input to the external equipment is carried out by the Bluetooth device 3 to ensure the input. Further, identification information for short-distance radio communication with the external equipment is exchanged by using the IR device 2 and then this information is used to perform communication by the Bluetooth device 3, so the external equipment as the input object can be switched by intuitive operation.
