PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce the distance between the light source and an objective lens in an optical pickup. SOLUTION: In this optical pickup, an optical path-forming element 2 is disposed between the light source and an optical disk. And it is made one body of flat parallel transparent plates forming a straight optical path to an optical disk 6 from the light source 1. It has an optical path separating function to separate the return light flux reflected by the optical disk as one or more straight detecting optical paths to the optical detector from the straight lighting optical path, and at least, a concave lens function which strengthens the divergence of the light flux in the optical path for lighting. One or more photoreceptors 4A and 4B are formed in one body constituting the photo detector. |
