PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery incorporated type power converting device which converts the electric power generated by a solar battery into electric power that a home appliance or on-vehicle equipment can use as its power source. SOLUTION: A 2nd boosting converter 17 which limits the series number of battery cells to equal to or below the peak voltage of an AC voltage and boosts the voltage of a battery 13 to equal to or above the necessary peak voltage of the AC voltage is connected between the battery 13 and an inverter 14, and the input voltage to the inverter 14 is controlled to a constant voltage equal to or above the peak voltage of the AC voltage irrelevantly to the voltage of the battery 13.
