PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent false colors due to the difference between frequency bands of image data of two plates in a two-plate image capture device. SOLUTION: The two-plate image capture device is provided with a color separation optical system for separating an optical image into a first optical image and a second optical image, a first photographing section for photographing the first optical image to generate first image data, a color filter array for spatially color-separating the second optical image, a second photographing section for generating second image data and third image data via the color filter array, a filter arithmetic section for applying arithmetic processings of spatial frequency filter to the first image data for making the first image data close to the spatial frequency bands of the second and third image data, a color difference arithmetic section for calculating color difference data on the basis of the second and third image data and the arithmetic- processed first data, and a color image outputting section for outputting color image data, on the basis of the first image data and the color difference data. |
