PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a system with a user agent concerning a user and a plurality of appliances each having an appliance agent. SOLUTION: This method includes a step 1802 for detecting dialogs with a first appliance corresponding to the user; a step 1804 for communicating the detection to the user agent to update a user profile; and a step 1808 transmitting a first action message to the first appliance according to one of the dialogs and the user profile, indicating execution of a first action to the corresponding first appliance to shift control to the first action to the agent of the first appliance from the user agent.
