PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting/receiving system and a transmitting/ receiving method, with which additional information can be bidirectionally transmitted without requiring any dedicated data area or packet. SOLUTION: This transmitting/receiving system is provided with a player 1 for generating a statistic information packet based on statistic information on the communication of a data packet and the additional information, to which a degree of emergency is applied as needed, transmitting the data packet by a first protocol and transmitting or receiving the static information packet by a second protocol and a remote controller 3 for receiving the data packet and the statistic information packet transmitted from the player 1 by the different protocols, transmitting or receiving the statistic information packet in the remote controller 3 by the second protocol, selecting the statistic information packet, selecting the statistic information or additional information added as needed out of the statistic information packet and displaying the statistic information or additional information added as needed. |
