PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and a system capable of forming an image expressing a new characteristic which is not present in each model image by use of two model images while leaving the characteristics of the both. SOLUTION: A plurality of model images are composed to form a (contracted) composed image, and the area for a (contracted) formed image that is the image to be formed is prepared. A virtual pixel value is generated on the outside of the formed image area a, masks are arranged on the formed image area and also on the composed image. The similarity of the masked area on the formed image area and the masked area on the composed image is determined while moving the mask on the composed image by one pixel as the position of the mask on the formed image area is fixed, and the attribute information of the pixel e having the highest similarity is assigned as the attribute information of the pixel on the formed image area.
