PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an edge of a plate-like component and a stage from interfering each other in an apparatus for connecting to connect a film-like component to the plate-like component. SOLUTION: The apparatus for connection comprises a plurality of upper side heads 11A to 11C each having a tool 11a at a lower end, and lower side heads 12A to 12C each having a stage 12a at an upper end. When the plurality of the heads 12A to 12C are simultaneously raised by a lower side driver 17B, only the stage 12a of each of the heads 12A to 12C provided at a protruding position by a lower side head selecting unit 55B is brought into contact with a lower surface of the plate-like component 9. When the plurality of the heads 11A to 11C are simultaneously lowered by an upper side driver 17A, only a tool 11a of each of the heads 11A to 11C provided at a protruding position of an upper side head selecting unit 55A is brought into contact with a film-like component 8.
