PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket connector, which does not change its shape, can be locked firmly, and can prevent unlocking and deformation. SOLUTION: In the connector 10, which has contacts 5 and an insulator 1, and is mounted on a 1st board 30, connected to a 2nd board 20, which is a connection subject, the above connector 10 has a lock part 6, which locks the 2nd substrate 20, which is the connection subject. The above insulator 1 has an insertion part 11, in which the 2nd board 20, which is the connection subject, is inserted. The above contact 5 is held at the insulator 1 so that point- of-contact parts 5a of contact may be located inside the insertion part, and be connected with the connection subject. The above lock part 6 has contact parts, which contact the connection subjects. And the contact parts have 1st contact parts 6b, which contact the other face of the connection subjects and hold the connection subject, and have 2nd contact parts 6c, which contact the corner or the side of the connection subject.
