PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display music information (names of titles, names of articles or the like) of the music to be reproduced next while exchanging a medium such as a disk or the like by employing a small amount of memory. SOLUTION: In a random reproducing, a control section 23 conducts the following controls, i.e., (1) a disk changer device 10 reads the music information of an arbitrary music stored in disks DK1 to DK3 and a storage section 24 stores the information, (2) the music to be reproduced next is determined from the music whose music information is stored in the storage section 24, (3) the music information of the determined music is displayed on a display section 25 and the device 10 reproduces the music and (4) music to be reproduced next is determined from the music, which is stored in the storage medium set in a reproducing section 12 and is not reproduced, and the music information of the music is stored in the storage section 24 replacing the music information of the music that is already reproduced. Then, the controls for (2) to (4) above are repeated to conduct the random reproducing.
