PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate individual and independent development by giving variety and diversity to application and program of control service provided by an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is provided with an input part 101 for inputting a message file 104 describing function declaration issued as a processing request or a setting request to a server process from a client process, a syntax analyzing part 102 for performing syntax check on the message file 104, a client stub 107 describing issue of a function according to the message file, a server skeleton 105 registering a function handler describing only the argument delivery from the function, and a code generating part 103 for generating a header 106 containing definition contents common to both.
