PURPOSE: A Chinese character learning system and a method for the same are provided to enable a learner to easily learn Chinese characters over the Internet by using a character origination principle. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. A learner enters into a Chinese character learning mode(31). A server checks whether the learner selects a Chinese character origin learning menu(32). If the learner selects the menu, the server outputs plural images for enabling the learner to select or modify the output images(33). The server checks whether the learner requests to modify the images(34), and in a case that the learner requests to do, the step(33) is repeated. In a case that the learner does not request to do, the server checks whether the learner pushes an input completion button(35). In a case that the learner pushes the input completion button, the server checks whether the learner inputs a redrawing instruction(36), and in a case that the learner does not push the input completion button, the step(33) is repeated. In a case that the learner does not input the redrawing instruction, the input result is stored, namely a learning result is stored(37). The stored result is transmitted to the server(38), and the learning process is finished if there is no more learning request(39).
