PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ease the troublesome operations to select a desired music from a large number of music. SOLUTION: An apparatus has an MP3 data region 11A in which MP3 data are recorded for every music, a database region 11B in which special information relative to the music of the MP3 data recorded in the region 11A is recorded, a priority order generating means 21 which generates the priority order of the music relative to the MP3 data recorded in the region 11A based on the special information stored in the region 11B and a control means 22 which displays music marks in a music unit on the display screen of a display device 16 based on the priority order generated by the means 21.
