PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently download and display plural image data even on a terminal device which has only a low speed communication line. SOLUTION: An image data set comprising single files and partitioning information to divide this image data set into individual image data is stored in advance on an image providing server. And, if a download request for this image data set from a terminal device is accepted, this image data set and the partitioning information are downloaded on the terminal device. The image data set is divided into the individual image data based on the partitioning information at the terminal device by which the above image data set and the partitioning information are received. Because the plural image data can be received in the download request at one time as a single file of the image data set, data transfer volume can be reduced when compared with reiteration of the download requests for the image data and plural image data can, therefore, be efficiently downloaded even via the low speed communication line.
