PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular array antenna that can form the same pattern beam in various directions with a simple configuration and also form a multi- beam without using a variable device. SOLUTION: N sets of antenna elements A1 to AN are placed on a circumference 21 at an equal interval, the antennal elements A1 to AN are connected to an N-port Battler matrix circuit 23 through equi-length lines L1 to LN and fixed phase shifters 22-1 to 22-N, other ports Pmi (i=1,2,..., N) are connected to an N-port Battler matrix circuit 25 through amplifiers Ami and fixed phase shifters 24-i, and the other ports of the circuit 25 are used for feeding terminals 26-i. A relation ofΨi+1 -Ψi =180 deg./N or -180 deg./N, whereΨi is the phase amount of the phase shifter 22-i. The phase shifter 24-i is used to correct a path difference on the basis of the circular arrangement of the elements Ai .
