PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter for outside installation which is excellent and capable of cooling a circuit board efficiently, without increasing the size of the whole of the converter, and without increasing the power consumption of fans in vain. SOLUTION: While arranging in a casing K, a circuit board C fitted with a control circuit which converts direct current inputted from a solar battery power source 1 into alternating current, and supplies power to a load 3, an opening window B1 for exhausting air is formed on one end side of the casing K, and an opening window B2 for taking air in is formed on the other end side respectively. A power converter D for outdoor installation having fans 2 between the circuit board C and an air intake portion is formed. The quantity of wind of the fans 2, and the opening and closing operations of the windows B1, B2 are controlled by a control circuit according to the generated electric energy of the power source 1. |
