PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for a memory card rental, storage and management of data recorded on the memory card and user management without trouble. SOLUTION: ID information of a memory card 15 and member information of a user 19 are matched and kept in a management server 12 when the memory card 15 is rented out from a media rental service department 16. When the user 19 mounts the borrowed memory card 15 on a digital camera 22 and takes a picture, image data are coded through coding function and recorded on the memory card 15. Authentication is performed through the ID information of the memory card 15 and the member information in the management server 12 by inserting the memory card 15 into a reception terminal to save the image data on the memory card 15, and when authenticated, the image data are read out from the memory card 15 through the reception terminal to be transmitted to the management server 12 and forwarded to and stored in an image database 14. |
