PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an ink consumption cost by making a part needed by a user in an original to be colored and making the other parts to be a monochrome image or eliminating the image of the other parts. SOLUTION: A color reading part 1 reads the original in color and stores the original into memory part 2, a black and white converting part 3 performs image recognition of a prescribed mark from color data stored into the memory part 2 and converts the color data in an area designated with the mark into black and white data or white data in accordance with the type of the mark, and a printing part 6 prints the converted data, or a facsimile communication controlling part 7 transmits the converted data. |
