PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically convert contents edited by a user to a platform- independent description language. SOLUTION: Personal computers 3-1 to 3-N (hereinafter referred simply to as personal computer 3) execute authoring software 21-1 to 21-N, respectively, convert the contents edited by the user to a document of markup language form, and transmit it to a server 1 through Internet 2. The server 1 stores the markup language document 12 transmitted from the personal computer 3 in HDD 10, executes a markup language processing processor 11 to expand the markup language document 12 to a tree structure 13 of markup language document, and stores it in HDD 10. Accordingly, the server 1 can provide common contents to users independently from a platform. |
