The button (2) is rotary mounted about an axis (AA) transverse to housing part (3) of the appliance. It has a handle portion (4) coupled to a body (5), rotary fitted in a recess in the housing part. Between the body and an electric component (7), secured in a housing (9) is fitted a rotary motion transfer pin (6). The housing part, with respect to the housing and chassis (8) is movably mounted. The transfer pin comprises a flexible section (12) formed by pre-twisted pin sheet.
