<p>PURPOSE: Provided is a recording sheet for an ink jet printer which improves recording properties such as vividness of images, printing density, etc., and shelf life such as light resistance of images, ozone resistance, etc. CONSTITUTION: The recording sheet comprises a base material and an ink receiving layer provided on at least one surface of the base material, wherein the recording sheet contains oligosaccharide and divalent metallic salt. The oligosaccharide and divalent metallic salt are contained in the ink receiving layer. The oligosaccharide includes at least one maltooligosaccharide having a glucose polymerization degree of 2 to 10. The oligosaccharide is at least one selected from maltose, maltotriose, maltotetraose, maltopentaose, maltohexaose, and maltoheptaose.</p> |
