PURPOSE: A street inlet for rainwater infiltration is provided to utilize rainwater as underground water and to prevent the submersion of a road and a house by decreasing the quantity of rainwater discharging to a drainpipe. CONSTITUTION: The street inlet(10) for rainwater infiltration is laid or installed between a roadway paved with asphalt(1) and a footway covered with blocks(2) and contains a grit chamber(7), a cover(4), and a lateral sewer(6) provided with an opening to discharge rainwater gathered in the street inlet(10) to a drainpipe.
