PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing oil-leakage of a rotary compressor is provided to reduce amount of oil-leakage through a discharge pipe together with discharged gas. CONSTITUTION: An oil separator(10) comprises an oil separating barrel(11) joined to be fluidically connected with a discharge pipe(DP) and a filter member(12) installed in the oil separating barrel to separate oil from discharged gas flowing to the discharge pipe. An oil collecting port(11a) is formed on one side of a bottom of the oil separating barrel to drain oil separated by the filter member into a casing.
