PURPOSE: A cooling device of thin plate type is provided to naturally circulate refrigerant independently of influence of gravity. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) includes a housing(112) having a circulation loop of fluid built therein; and refrigerant circulating in the circulation loop in the housing. The circulation loop includes a refrigerant storage part(102) formed on one end in the housing to store liquefied refrigerant; an evaporating part(104) including at least one first fine channel connected with one end of the refrigerant storage part, having liquefied refrigerant filled between the refrigerant storage part and a fixed part of the first fine channel by surface tension with an inner wall of the first fine channel, set to have surface tension larger than gravity, and evaporating liquefied refrigerant filled in the first fine channel by heat absorbed from a heat source; a condensing part(108) separated from the first fine channel by fixed distance in longitudinal direction on the same plane, including at least one second fine channel to condense gaseous refrigerant evaporated in the first fine channel and transported, and set to have surface tension between an inner wall of the second fine channel and condensed refrigerant; a gaseous refrigerant transporting part(106) placed between the first fine channel and the second fine channel; and a liquefied refrigerant transporting part(110) transporting liquefied refrigerant condensed in the condensing part to the refrigerant storage part, and separated from the gaseous refrigerant transporting part.
