PURPOSE: A cold air generator using a thermoelectric element is provided to improve endothermic efficiency of the thermoelectric element, i.e., cooling efficiency. CONSTITUTION: Thermoelectric elements(2,2') and heat insulators(3,3') are formed in a main body(1) successively in a vertical direction. Heat sinks(5,5') with a plurality of radiating fins(4,4') formed thereon are attached on both sides of the thermoelectric elements to divide an inside of the main body into a left side and a right side. An outlet(6) and an inlet(7) are formed on an upper part and a lower part of one side of the main body, respectively. An upside-down L-shaped guiding wall(8) is formed on an inside of a boundary part between the outlet and the inlet(7). A blowing fan(9) is installed on an inside of the outlet. An inlet(10) and outlet(11) are formed on an upper part and a lower part of the other side of the main body, respectively. A plurality of partitioned spaces(12,12') are formed in an inner space of the outlet successively from an outside to an inside. A plurality of circulating fans(13,13') are installed on side walls of the partitioned spaces. Heat absorbing material(14) is attached on inner circumferential walls of the partitioned spaces.
