<p>The invention relates to methods of processing signals from a towed linear array comprising n (preferably 3) parallel sub-arrays forming hydrophone multiplets. The roll angle of the multiplets is measured (110) in order to synthesise (101) stabilised linear sub-arrays. Mv bearing channels are then formed (102) for each Doppler channel with each sub-array and, subsequently, two adaptive right/left channels are formed (104) using said sub-arrays. The invention can be used to remove the right/left ambiguity with improved performance in terms of detection and for long arrays.</p> |
