The power plant has a recuperator (11) situated at inlet flow path (15) of gas to the turbo group (2) comprising turbine (3) and main burner (5). An auxiliary burner (19), situated at outlet stream of recuperator, preheats the fuel/oxidizer to be fed into the turbo group. An auxiliary compressor or blower (21) is arranged to supply the fuel/oxidizer, to be heated, into the auxiliary burner.
