摘要 PURPOSE: A loose tube ribbon optical cable is provided to prevent a minute bending generated in corners of a ribbon optical fiber bundle and minimize the minute bending. CONSTITUTION: A ribbon optical fiber bundle(230) has a structure which laminates a plurality of ribbon optical fibers(220). The ribbon optical fibers(220) are formed by coating an optical fiber(210) of 12 cores by a UV resin. A pair of enforcement layers(240) is laminated on an upper surface of a lower surface of the ribbon optical fiber bundle(230). The UV resin is coated at the optical fibers(210) in a liquid state and is hardened thereat by a radiation of an infrared ray. The enforcement layer(240) has the same elastic efficient and linear expansion efficient as those of the ribbon optical fiber(220). An empty space in the loose tube(270) is filled with a jelly(260).
