PURPOSE: A device of exchanging packets is provided to transmit received IP data to a UTRAN(UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network) or a GGSN(Gateway GPRS Support Node), thereby supplying a differentiated service in an SGSN(Serving GPRS Support Node) for a packet service demanded by a UMTS(Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) network. CONSTITUTION: ATM interface modules(20,40) change traffic properties of data according to internal ATM QoS ranks to transmit the data to an ATM packet switch, or displays DS(Differentiated Service) code values in order to transmit data streams to an external IP network. If an SGSN is set by a boundary node according to service types, IP interface modules(30,50) divide the QoS ranks to transmit the data to the ATM interface modules(20,40). If the SGSN is set by an internal node, the IP interface modules(30,50) change the data according to the DS code values, and transmit the data to the external IP network. |
