The framework comprises stays and uprights . At least one of the stays (2) has at one of its ends a head (1) which has at least one and preferably two first wedge openings (8,9) and at least one and preferably two clamping areas (17) whereby the head can be attached with a wedge (10) and a clamping element (13) on another stay (3) so that the wedge (10) engages through the two wedge openings. Through the wedge and clamping element the head of one stay can be drawn towards the other stay whereby the clamping area (17) is held through friction and or force locking connection against the other stay (3). The clamping element (13) can e mounted loose or locally fixed on the stay.
