MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CYLINDER HEAD

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of cylinder head is provided which is capable of reducing valve seat processing process by pressing and thus casting valve seat ring from the cylinder head in the material state during low pressure casting of the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of cylinder head comprises a step(2) of setting a valve seat ring on a core print inside an insert of combustion chamber that is formed on a lower die of the cylinder head; a step(3) of assembling core shapes of valve seat, in/ex port, water jacket and oil passageway into the lower die of the cylinder head; a step(4) of casting the cylinder head; a step(5,6) of heat treating and post treating the casted cylinder head after casting the cylinder head; and a step(7) of processing the inner circumferential surface of the valve seat of the cylinder head, wherein the outer circumferential surface of the valve seat of the cylinder head is shot blasted before being casted to increase adhesive property between the valve seat of the cylinder head and aluminum matrix in the step(4) of casting the cylinder head.
