PRINTING METHOD FOR INK JET PRINTER IN INK SAVING MODE

PURPOSE: A printing method is provided to reduce ink consumption through the ink saving mode, while preventing deterioration of print quality. CONSTITUTION: A printing method comprises a first step(S10) of permitting a computer to transmit print files to a printer through an interface; a second step(S20) of judging whether the print mode is an ink saving mode; a third step(S30) of judging whether the line is an odd-numbered line of the print file, if it is judged in the second step that the print mode is an ink saving mode; a fourth step(S40) of executing AND logic operation by using the value of an odd number pattern for the dot region of odd-numbered line; a fifth step(S50) of executing AND logic operation by using the value of an even number pattern for the dot region of even-numbered line; a sixth step(S60) of storing the resultant image obtained from the fourth and fifth steps into a RAM; a seventh step(S70) of performing printing; and an eighth step(S80) of judging whether the resultant image is the last line.
