PURPOSE: A method for providing channel information of an RSU(RoadSide Unit) is provided to allow a current RSU to estimate a running direction of a car and transmit channel information and service information of a next RSU, so as to reduce a channel search time of an OBU(On Board Unit) and reduce channel search errors. CONSTITUTION: An OBU and a current RSU searches a previous RSU(S101). If the previous RSU is searched, the current RSU estimates a running direction of the OBU(S102) and searches a next RSU(S103). The current RSU searches channel information and service information of the next RSU(S104) and transmits the searched information to the OBU(S105), and the OBU temporarily stores the channel information and the service information of the next RSU. If a car enters a communication area of the next RSU(S106), the OBU applies the channel information and service information stored by being received from the current RSU(S107) to perform communication with the next RSU(S108).
