PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a stator assembly for a slotless motor is provided to allow coils to be wound in an easy and rapid manner, while reducing manufacturing costs and defective ratio. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of winding a bonding wire so as to obtain a plurality of coil assemblies(24a,24b,24c) including a first coil unit and a second coil unit which are wound in the same direction; a second step of disposing the first coil unit and the second coil unit of the coil assembly in such a manner that the first coil unit and the second coil unit are adjacent with each other and connecting parts of the longer sides of first and second coil units are superimposed with each other; a third step of compressing the first coil unit and the second coil unit into a semi-cylindrical shape through an electrifying process and a press-shaping process, and fixing the coil so as to prepare first and second semi-cylindrical coil wound fields; and a fourth step of obtaining a stator assembly by assembling first and second semi-cylindrical coil wound fields into a cylinder, and assembling the cylinder into a magnetic return path.
