EDGE WIPER IN CHROMATE COATING FACILITY FOR GALVANIZED STEEL SHEET

PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing chromate solution going up along the gap between both the ringer roll and the end part of both sides of the galvanized steel sheet when squeezing the chromate solution by pressing the galvanized steel sheet with the ringer roll after coating a galvanized steel sheet with chromate is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a ringer roll(120) for pressing upper and lower surfaces of the chromate coated galvanized steel sheet(200) by ringer roll pressing cylinders after a galvanized steel sheet(200) passes through the inlet part of a chromate tank by a driving roll so that the surface of the galvanized steel sheet(200) is coated with chromate, an edge wiper in chromate coating facility for the galvanized steel sheet comprises a CCD camera which is installed at the upper inlet part of the chromate tank to sense the end part of both sides of the galvanized steel sheet(200); a nozzle(430) which is installed at the end part of both sides of the galvanized steel sheet(200) pressed to the ringer roll(120); and a power cylinder which is fixed to both sides of the ringer roll(120) and transfers the power cylinder rod(422) side to side so that the nozzle(430) connected to the end part of a power cylinder rod(422) is positioned at the end part of both sides of the galvanized steel sheet(200).
