The invention concerns a method whereby glass containers (2) are withdrawn, using a withdrawal mechanism (3), from a shaping station of a glass moulding machine, and set in a site (5) of a setting plate (4) traversed by cooling air orifices. The glass containers (2) are then brought, by means of a shifting device, on a conveyor belt (14). At each setting site (5) is provided at least a detector (12) beneath an upper surface of said site (5) urged in contact with the glass containers (2). The electromagnetic radiation from each glass container (2) passes through at least an orifice (6) of the setting plate (4) and is sensed by at least a detector (12). Each detector (12) is connected to electrical means, which act on the corrective measures to be taken, in case of a detected anomaly, in the glass shaping machine. |
