The bottle holder (1), designed especially for plastics bottles, has a lower clip (10) and upper clip (7) so that at least one of the clips surrounds at least in part the outer jacket of the bottle to hold same. At least one of the clips is elastically resilient. The holder can be designed to fit on the cycle frame through a holding arm (15).
