A tubeless vehicle tire (1) comprises bead sections (3) at the radial inner ends of the side walls (2). The radial and axial innermost bead region is in the form of a toe (4), and bead cores are located in the beads. The surface of each bead is formed by a bead profile (7). The profile consists of two strips of differing hardness, and an axial inner strip (7y) which surrounds the bead toe. The outer strip has a Shore hardness of 77-95, especially 87-92, while the inner strip has a Shore hardness of 50-75, especially 60-70. The transition between the harder outer strip and the softer inner strip is continual and the interface is arranged at an angle.
