The door (8) swivels on a horizontal axle (16) between a vertical closed position and a horizontal open position. A restoring device (18) , with springs (20),exerts torque in the door's closure direction against the torque produced by the weight of the door. A third of the way up the door, and spaced apart from the swivel axle, is a holder (22,24) for at least one extra weight (26,28) for balancing the door by means of a difference in torque between that of the door-weight and the restoring torque.
